Yup, I agree. Laughed at the negative reviews I read afterwards. I really enjoyed it. "Too sentimental / nostalgic" - it's Speilberg, come on, what did they expect?

It was schmaltzy and predictable but that's fine. I loved it. There were a bunch of unruly youths in the theater when I saw it so I definitely wanna go again.

I think there were maybe 4 other people in the theater along with me and my date - surprising for opening weekend, but then again, it was the first warm and sunny Saturday afternoon here since last September...
