I was thinking about getting one but I only seem to find the ones for guitars not basses or are they all the same? You know, play a line, stomp a pedal, and it loops etc... Does anyone know any good ones? or even what I'm talking about??? lol

Boss RC-20XL and the DigiTech JamMan both seem to be popular around here.

And don't get caught up on the whole "Oh no it's for a guitar not bass" thing. 99% of any effect or whatever pedals will work just fine for bass (the notable exception being distortion pedals, which often don't provide enough low-end for the bass. Even then, plenty will still work fine!)

Any looper should be able to work for any instrument.

I'm leaning more towards the boss. So it's play a riff, stomp, play a riff, stomp etc..??? or do I have to stop what I'm doing and turn knobs and junk?

the boss unit wll allow you to do this as wil just about any other I've seen l. I'd recommend trying it out, also a line6 dm4 and an akai headrush. They all score points off each other in different ways.
there are quite a few threads here about them. Do a search and see what you can find. Also check out the loopers delight website, they point out some good pros and cons of each that you might not realise in the store.

I own the Boss RC-20XL. Its awesome !! And to answer your question, no you don't need to go twiddling knobs all the time. You just keep stomping away and layering layer over layer over layer over layer over layer over layer over layer over layer over layer over layer over layer etc...

To be honest, most loopers will require you to turn a few knobs here and there. Some are simpler than others. Very few require NO knob turning- the one I can think of is the only one superbassman missed! The Zvex Lo-Fi Loop Junky. Expensive and limited in function, but very cool anyway.

And as a side note, I've tried several of those listed, and they were all fine for bass except for the Red Sound C-Loops, which sucked bass tone bigtime.
