Double Bass Realist SoundClip Redux

Just wanted to say thank you to David Gage and the shop for helping me out with my SoundClip. I purchased one back in September, but there was a looseness and some rattling. I called the shop and spoke with David. He swapped out the pup and sent me the latest revision. I used it tonight for the first time, and I must say, it's outstanding!! On top of that, the shop expedited the shipping for me so I'd have it in time for a gig. Thanks for the outstanding customer service guys!!
 
Good to hear. I also find the Soundclip to be a great pickup, although if the opinions voiced on TB are any indication, we're in the minority. It takes a little EQ tweaking, but I've got my current rig sounding as good as any piezo can, I think. The guy I play with most often (also a double bassist, but playing violin most recently) couldn't tell I was amplified except that I was louder -- a pretty good sign.
