That's pretty much it. Only this is bigger. Cut to about the size of the copper transducer surface and slip between it and the wood of the bridge. Simple. Hope it works for you.

Just bought a second hand soundclip. Was sp thin and scratchy that I was convinced something was terribly wrong with it.
Spent hours on my 4 basses trying to make it sound decent.
The strip of inner tube trick (and some heavy eq) made it sound fabulous.
Cutting up the inner tube has made my bass sound fabulous. However it has had a corresponding negative effect on how well my bicycle works…
