The Genesis line sounds nothing like the others. There's actually some wood in those muthas. Paired up with a Bart pup / preamp harness and you're good to go. I've had the same set of DR LongNecks on for 18+ months and they still sound good. Kind of a shame as I hate the LongNecks and am desperate for a reason to swap out string sets!
