Recommend a Micro Rig?

I am looking to down size my rig, and I should have enough left to get a little practice/coffee house rig. I'm wondering what the best value in a micro rig is. I'm thinking Markbass should have what i'm looking for in my price range, but very open to recommendations.

I would recommend an Ampeg PF500 with a nice lightweight 2x12, I went from a TC BH500 with two BC212 cabs to my current rig with amazing results, I have 100% better sound and fantastic portability .

If you need something for practice and coffee house gigs you don't need 2 12's and 500 watts. Also check out the TC BG250 and the Carvin MB15, both under $400.

I may have misunderstood the OP, are you looking to down-size your rig then get another with what is left ?

Sometimes how you read something can have different meanings :)

+1 to the MB115 if a combo is your thing, its a very good value.

Also check out the Ampeg Portaflex heads with a bunch of 115 cabs. Your ear will tell you which one works.
