Recommend an Electric Drummer

I couldn't find an appropriate Forum for this specifically so
Forum Managers, feel free to move this to whatever forum
you feel it belongs.

I'm looking for TBer recommendations for a good drum machine
to use for practice and/or recording.

Looking for ease of use . . . something pre-programmed with
beats & rhythms that can easily be modded.

I tried the Alesis 16 and the learning curve requires more
time than I can give it. Can you recommend an electric
"Drummer for Dummies"?

I'm interested in one of those Zoom machines myself.

If you're looking to buy new, Looks like the Zoom RT-123 has been replaced by the RT-223. Only found it listed at two online retailers and neither has it in stock. Haven't checked the 'bay yet though.

If you have a smart phone and some computer speakers you can find a good drum machine app. I use Cadeli Drum Machine which was like 3 bucks or something.

The windows port runs fine on win7. The price is right (open source), If it doesn't suit your needs just uninstall it.
