So Earthquaker devices - Dispatch master has been mentioned, and Ive been looking at this pedal.
I notice Earthquaker has another pedal called the Avalanche Run. Is this pedal the same as Dispatch Master and more?

Good question. It is probably more than I would ever want as it is a stereo delay (I prefer mono delay on bass). Looks like it may a DM with more features like reverse reverb, stereo, swell.

Looks like it has tap tempo as well. I would love to hear this pedal on bass, although my DM is fantastic for what I use it for.

I've had excellent results with my Boss DD7. I bought a no name tap to go with it and have loved it ever since.

Yeah and I never really cared for tap tempo as a must have feature on delays. I find that dialing them in by ear results in some more creative effects that could be missed if I just tapped the tempo. Of course. I also grew up with a Memory Man so I'm pretty used to not having that feature.
