One thing to consider is that the Gotoh 201 has a pretty thick base plate and big round saddles. You might not be able to get the action as low as you could before. That's my only complaint about an otherwise nice bridge.

Would the 5-string variant fit on the Ibanez Gsr-205? I'm looking to replace my current bridge and would like to know If It's worth investing in.
I have had a lot of luck with these Hipshot B-style bridges - was looking for something to fit a vintage Fender profile with a little added mass and saddle stability. Also they have a quick-release which is great for switching strings easily and avoiding scraping the windings when doing so, which makes it easier to avoid old string damage in case you want to reuse them.

I just enlarged this economy model you referred to, and it looks just like the Gotoh 201 when I enlarged it. I checked twice. Wonder what the difference is?
