Recommend me a fuzz pedal

Hi everyone.
I'm looking for a fuzz pedal around 120$ price.
I play rock and metal music so i'm trying to get some cool dirt pedals (I have a B7k also).
I live in Colombia, so I dont have the chance to try pedals in a music store... any suggestions?

Malekko Ultra 213 is the best fuzz pedal I have ever heard but its out of your price range by about 75 dollars. If you somehow find one used (not likely) go for it.

An EHX BIG MUFF PI is also a good option. Its around $80 u.s. and is highly moddable and sounds huge on bass. Or try the BASS BIG MUFF they also sell.

Way Huge Swollen Pickle. I have one and it is very versatile. You can pick one up in the TB classifieds for well under $100.
They do require some tweaking of knobs, but are well worth I IMO.

I've always been really curious about the B:Assmaster because Vegas recommends it so much and he seems like a fairly serious dude when it comes to these things. That said, Behndy hipped me to the TAFM. I found one here, with the gate mod, for about $140 I believe. I think Jimmy M. ( now with Germanium) found his for around $120.

I love this sumbitch.

The magic of the Malekko lies in not only the saturation, but the "punching through a dense mix" factor. I heard it once again confirmed when I saw O'brother perform not long ago...three driving guitar players and you STILL heard Anton's bass loud and clear when he kicked it on.

Yeah, I'd like to get my hands on one. The TAFM can disappear in a mix sometimes. Always only takes a slight tweak to get it back on track, but it's an annoyance. I'd also like to be able to get it up in the mix with a little less volume sometimes.

I found a used Danelectro Fuzz pedal on Ebay for about $20 £15 GB last year and have yet to try it with one of the basses - perhaps the Dano Longhorn. Since I am not addicted to that sound on bass, I don't see why use of Dano Fuzz pedal on just the one job will hurt. Unless you are a high level professional or low user of Fuzz, I see no reason to spend loads of dollars on just an effects pedal.

I love my Boss FZ-2 (Hyper Fuzz). It can do nasty synth fuzz too.

Best idea: Kick in a bit more and get an Iron Ether Oxide USED. They go for $140-170. I sold one for not much. I loved it, but I'm broke. I promise it is a GREAT pedal.

Otherwise, you are buying temporary solutions to a final quandary. Buy for the end game. Oxide owns. Get one.
