Recommend me a phaser

So I am looking into gettin my first phaser pedal shortly and was wondering what different models I should be checking out? I don't want to spend a heap right now, so im probably looking for something basic at the moment. Clips of bass demos for the pedals would be nice too

I've just bought MXR Phase 100 which sounds very unique to me over other phasers (even the Phase 90). Warmer, more subtle and it has something I can't put into words ;) Ibanez PT-9 is nice too.

Unfortunately it takes out much 'power' (low mid I guess) from my guitar's sound, it seems to work better with P-bass. I hope loop switch with dry/effect blender will fix the problem.

I dont really have a whole lot of experience in the phaser department, but since nobody else has replied yet, I figured I throw in what I do know. I acquired a Electro Harmonix Small Stone about a year ago, which is actually more geared towards guitar. I did not like it with my guitar. Seemed to noisy. The fellas and I were at practice playing Stranglehold and I decided to try the Small Stone on my bass and I totally dig it. Again, I would imagine it depends on the style of music you play and what type of tone you like. I'm sure some others will be chiming in as well.

I do like mine (Phase 90; I have a script reissue w/LED), but I also have a thing for the Small Stone (you'll have to settle for the Nano; I had the black Russian model, and it was very subtle, to the point that I found it incompatible with my sound). If you want features, the Pigtronix EP-2 is a pretty good phaser. I've had one for less than a week, and I think it will do me nicely. It isn't cheap, though; I paid $250 for mine (normally, I will not disclose prices, but since I bought the pedal from Tone Factor, anyone can see the price I paid for it).

From the cheap seats:
I like my DOD FX20C- I've tried a coupla different phasers; EHX Wiggler- I think that's a phaser that tries to emulate rotary speakers; Pigtronix EP1; couple more in stores, & the DOD did the subtle thing I wanted. Can also get ugly, but not completely over-the-top.

The SIB! Mr. Fazeadelic is pretty versatile, you can put it in dangerously-close-to-out-of-control mode if you like, or keep it nice and flowy. Having two switchable speeds is great - when running after a filter I find a higher speed is necessary. Low end stays solid.
