Recommend me some good bands PLEASE

Long story short, I'm not interested by my music collection anymore. I have over 4000 songs, but all I ever really listen to is Tool and a little bit of The Mars Volta (Amputechture and Deloused). Needless to say, I need more variety. I really love heavy, groove oriented music and technical music. Any suggestions at would be helpful.

Mellow--Lana Del Rey. Indie--Health or Parts & Labor or No Age. Jewish Jazz--John Zorn/Masada. Piano sonata--Sviatoslav Richter. Conductors--Charles Dutoit, Eugene Ormandy or Zubin Mehta. Blues--Skip James, Charley Patton. Jazz--Mingus. Plenty to wrap yo head around. Carry on.

If you like heavier music and want to hear killer bass playing then pick up some Protest the Hero. I highly recommend the album Fortress
