Well, Geezer Butler used an old Tycobrahe wah (god help me I can't remember the name), and Chicago Iron makes a reproduction of it, but its hella expensive. Wilson Effects makes a wah that will get close to that phaser like wah sound that sound balls awesome (I mean like brand new shiny white balls of the pinging and ponging variety) for Black Sabbath type tones.
Found a vox wah for 30 bones..figure you can't lose at pong at that price![]()
EBS's Wah One is the only wah I've ever used that I haven't hated.
In fact, I think it sounds terrific.
And for some reason, it sounds completely different battery powered vs. plugged in.
Grounding problem?
