Double Bass Recommendations for Azola Bugbass II Tune Up

Hi all, I have a sweet Azola Bugbass, I bought used. The action is pretty high and its a bit harder to play that I'd like. I feel like just taking it to a good shop and having it looked at and tuned up. (I'd tried taking the allen wrench and adjusting the action, but can't turn it any further than it is).

Any recommendations in the NYC area of folks that could work on this?

Did you slack the strings somewhat before trying to adjust the screw?

To lower the action you need to screw the bolt so the bottom of the neck will be pushed forward.
The pull of the strings is against you.
