Recommendations for new PUs on my GS Axe Bass

Hey guys.. I've got a Cort Gene Simmons AXE Bass and want to replace the stock mighty mite pickups with better ones. What would be the best pickups to replace the stock ones with? EMG's? If so, which ones? Thanks!!
