Recommendations for Pickups

I have a Yamaha RBX6JM John Myung that I just put and Audere preamp in. I am trying to figure out what pickups to use. I have a Conklin with Barts in it and am leaning towards those. I need to be able to switch from slap, finger, pick and tapping tones without a lot of fuss so I need something with variety of tone. The guitar is alder body with flame maple top, maple neck and ebony fretboard.

What tone change do you want replacement pups to give compared to the pups in it now? If the barts in your conklin are great to you, then those are prob a good choice for the other bass.

I would like a punchier sound, where there is good articulation of the fundamental tone. I also like a bridge pickup that growls a bit. I tend to pan toward the bridge pickup and add more bass playing fingerstlyle and pan towards the neck on slap. Slap tones I like a good round tone on the lower stings and snappy on the top end. I just added an Audere preamp and the tone is much better, but still not quite there.

I have a set of Barts (P4 quad coil, 4 wire) that are 118 x32 mm. Selling 'em cheaper than new by a lot!
