Recording Gear Help Needed

Hey everyone,

I am looking to get some advice to upgrade my recording for my youtube videos. I currently have an M-Audio Fast Track II and it's not getting the job done anymore. I was wondering if anyone had recommendations?
I was looking at a Focusrite 2x2 or the single input version of it, but are there any specific things I should know about it?

Also, the ableton lite that comes with it, would it allow me to record over an mp3 so I can add it to a video?

How come? What do you think the Focusrite will change? While the Focusrite is probably a slightly better sounding unit, I don't think changing from one entry level interface to another will make much difference to your videos. I'd hold off until you can do a bigger upgrade.
