We have a computer with a Soundblaster Live! soundcard and are using Wavelab. We are using a Beringer EuroRack UB802 and runing the line out to the input on the sound card. We are micing our cabs and runnin em into the mixer. The problem is we are having trouble getting the desired volume. We can't turn the volume knobs up on the mixer to much or it gets very distorted. Anyways has anyone else tryed this recording setup. Will it even work, anyone have any advice. We just are using it to lay down some tracks for our new vocalist. PLEASE HELP!!!

Start with the basics.
Make sure the sound in the mixer itself is clean! Check the level meters, listen with headphones.
The sound card input may expect a MIKE level not a line level, check this. You should be using a line input if it has one.
