Recycling - do you bother, how much? (Poll)

What do you mean room? Do you have an area the size of a garbage can? You can compost.

Watched Pen and Tellers BS about recycling.. did my own delving into it. Think it's complete crap. I put it all in one bin and let the trash divers have at it.

Some is crap, but it's gotten better. There is a market for more of the stuff now.

As long as you don't do meat, you are good. I do vege peelings, coffee grounds, grass clippings, etc. Cuts down on amount of garbage. I use something like this below (you can even start smaller). Whenever you see worms, toss them in - they help break stuff down.

Does it need to sit on soil or can it be placed on concrete?

It can sit on either. Look up Home Depot (or whoever) composters to give you an idea. I like when they sit on soil, since earthworms breaks down the stuff even faster.
