Hmm. I'm not sure that Bruce Lee had amp GAS in mind when he said this. But I agree that it can make life difficult.

Yeah- I was going to describe it the exact same way. So little difference (especially if a touch of EQ was added) between the first two. The third sounds thin and anemic comparatively.The first two takes of the P bass sound pretty close, but the first one sounds a bit thicker and warmer, to my ears. The last one is a bit more clear but thinner. My guess would be the P-15 (maybe with a little more bass), Reddi, 800B. I feel like I'm wrong more often than not, though.
P Bass with Chromes and some foam through either the REDDI, P-15 or John K Peavey Super Festival 800B. Which is what? You guess.
