Rediscovering the love for flatwound strings

I know the feeling. Had chromes then labella dtf's in my jazz v for years then last year i switch them to labella rx nps.

While the rx is a well balanced, punchy and not too harsh on the lows and mids, i miss the thumphy flats on the jazz bass so i ordered a set of labella low tension flats from bso and i cannot wait until then!

That will the be the few, the loving it, the nylon tapewound bass, and all others will pale...;)

eheh, Rotosound Tru Bass 88 are on their way, and the wait is killing me... they were shipped from Germany to Italy on December 30, but I'll probably will see them only near the end of the next week, or maybe the week after... those damn holidays... regular mail becomes extremely slow...
