As part of my multithreaded quest to eventually fix up the first full scale bass I ever owned, I am planning to strip the busted ploy finish off of the bass and redo it with a nitro finish. Are there any good links to help explain how this is done? I am looking into getting a warmoth neck and debating whether the nitro finish on the neck is necessary, because if it is not a huge issue I would love to finish the headstock in the same color.
