Refinishing and headstock decals... Squier edition!

Right now, as today, these basses, the "1st gen" ones (made from 2006-2014 as far as I am concerned, all of them having the-sadly-gone rosewood fingerboard, and also the 70s P model with the all maple neck maybe...), are pretty 'young', and I'm sure everybody is fine and happy with the finish they had on them... Olympic White, Inca Silver, or Lake Placid Blue for the Jazz Bass models, and Sonic blue or Fiesta Red for the Preicsion Bass models... these basses are some golden nuggets.

But someday, who knows? Their finish will be damaged, we will want it fresh or renewed... with new colours, matching headstocks... etc etc. Myself being concerned about that, I searched for an offer of decals for these particular basses, and guess what. Unless if my searching was very poor: I couldn't find someone making reproduction of these decals. And no, I'm not puting any Fender logo on a Squier, this would be an insult to these awesome piece of musical instruments. Plus it's already mentionned "by Fender" in small under the thin-contoured, golden-foiled Squier logo.

So I opened a vector software and did the job, I tried to be as precise as possible.

I'm NOT intending to sell these. If I can help anybody else, it's all fine, I will do. You gotta get it printed by professionals though, I don't have anything that prints metallic inks.

Any feedback appreciated. I might try to do the same with the newest Squier CV line and their "period-correct" logo... at least for the 70s Jazz Bass, it's period-correct to me. The '19 CV 60s P's logo isn't that correct to me... the "Precision Bass" text should be under the Squier logo... not aside.

Oh well! Time to get back to playing my beauty.

I have not so far, but that's just pending, do you need anything man? I've been kind of busy with other projects :)

Nicely done! I think there is a need for this. You are helping Squier owners stay legit! I have a 93' MIM P that I refinished, but left the headstock in its beat condition because I couldnt find an MIM decal anywhere, and didnt want to fake it using a standard MIA decal for a painted headstock. Is that possible in the Vector software?
