I like it without the PG, but I've never liked the look of PG's anyway...

I say leave the pickguard on. The way it matches the edges makes it look classy! Looks kind of bare without anything on front to me.

Ok guys... I have decided to leave the PG on. I appreciate the input and opinions from all you guys.

Next step will be to drop some Nordstrand Big Singles into it. I sure hope they fit.

Why hope? The dimensions are listed on the Nordstrand website: 4.25" by 1.25" for the 5-string version.

I know -- I'm saying if you know the dimensions you can measure your pickup routs and see if they'll fit!
