Refretting my 62RI. Mainly I want to go to medium jumbo's and even considered Jumbos. Has anyone played a J neck with Jumbos? Or have any info against this? It would benefit from a good planing anyway. Also it is a rosewood fingerboard with finished back. Just score around the end of the fret with a blade like normal to not flake away the finish? This will be my first fret job on a bass and want to cover my A$$. Any tips will be appreciated.
