A CD that has been in my rotation the last few weeks is 'Fire & Rain by Mikey Ras Starr, with additional bass by *Val Douglas and Robbie Shakespear. It's a late 70's vintage, great stuff!
It's on the Blood & Fire label that always has a killer catalog of great roots music.
