you don't need to be a greaser to blacken these raw necks in the first week if you're not careful so no doubt the relic job was an easy excuse to make it fit the gungy stick. not a fan of relicing but find'm for $100 and the Bronco is a potent little package, just dumped a set of LaBella shorts on and it's even better, they look nice brand new but that semi-rough neck deserves a slick finish.

Not my cup of tea, but the seller’s last Bronco sold for 299, seems like he’s improving his game. Definitely put a lot of work into this one, certainly looks like an authentic mechanic’s bass

Additional observations: I think the tarnished look of the bridge and tuners is pretty good, and that pickguard is excellent, been wanting to do that with mine for a while.

I try not to be negative, but those wear spots are so stupid. What repetitive motion would possibly wear through at those points, other than something intentional? This is the weakest point in most relics that I see. They ring false because there's no actual situation that would cause it to wear like that. It's like AI poetry.

Nope. Unconvincing/unrealistic relic job, and no Bronco should sell for more than 200. I don't care what was "improved," it's a Bronco. Too bad, so sad.
