Why yes, my only guitar amp is a 12 watt Dr Z M12. Its more then loud enough and sounds amazing without having to be ungodly loud.
The Stereo is indeed a 1974 Sansui receiver. I searched hi and low for one and came across this one on my local Craigslist. It sounds glorious. A big reason to put all the guitars overhead, was that I wanted the full width of the room to maximize speaker separation in the room. My wife teases me for having hundreds of cd's and an "old fashion" stereo but I enjoy listening to music so much more on a good system rather then a compressed mp3 through earbuds. Whats really cool is that good hi fi equipment can be had for next to nothing these days on Craigslist or in pawnshops as no one seems to be interested in anything other then digital home theater gear.
My kids love rooting through my cd's and checking out all my 80's hair metal!
