Renewing sup. membership w PayPal e-check, how long until payment clears?

I e been renewing my membership for at least 5 yrs,
This time I clicked on the "pay w Paypal" option,
without really thinking much about it,
I figured it'd be a simple 3 minute process, like always.

When I got to the PayPal option, there was only an E-check choice,
which I clicked on, and it's taking a while to clear.
The mistake was really mine for not choosing," pay w credit card"
After I paid, and read the details of an " eCheck", it was too late.

What is the average wait period for this?

It's been a couple of days and I'm still unable to place "for sale" ads
It's taking a while, and to be honest, I really need the money.
Could my status be upgraded by a moderator?

I've been a Sup. member since 2005 or '06, I believe,
and have always paid immediately, the second my membership expired.
Could this be done for me as a courtesy?
If not, I understand, rules are rules..

I'd renewed my membership so many times in the past,
that I quickly breezed through the payment process without reading the details..

the system will automatically upgrade the account once we receive notification from paypal that the e-check has cleared. Note, this is not when the money leaves your account. Also, when the payment clears and you get notification from paypal it does not mean we have yet received notification. But it's a safe bet to say your access will be restored within 24 hours of you receiving the official paypal notification of echeck clearing.
