replace Jaguar bridge?

Howdy, first off let me remind folks that I love my Jaguar. Best bass I've put my hands on in a long time. Even made me stop playing my cirrus'.

BUT, I was not keen on a few aspects of it. I didn't like the white pickguard on the black body, so I swapped it out for a black one. Also, since I came from 5 and 6 string land I really missed the low D. A quick hipshot addition and that is in business. But I'm left now with the bridge that I'm not a huge fan of.

Has anyone out there replaced the jag bridge? if so, what'd you pick and why? I play the Jaguar in active mode mainly with the low end boosted pretty high. I keep a very low big round bass tone b/t the jag and my mesa m6 and don't want to lose the tone. Adding a little sustain and making it prettier are my primary concerns with a new bridge.

I've considered it for my own Jag.

My thoughts: Hipshot Fender-Mount - heavy, to maybe help with the neck dive; top-loading, helps 'cause I change strings a lot; might look odd on the Jag.

Alternately, the Schaller roller bridge, as available from Stewmac. Not as heavy, not top-loading, might have to drill new mount holes... but hey, it looks more appropriate IMO.

I used to own a Jaguar and I put Gotoh bridge and it made a world of difference.

Some other mods were Lindy Fralin Pickups and Sadowsky preamp.

Sounded great.

I think that is what is on my Cirrus 5 string... good bridge, but not sure I like what it'll look on the Jag

this looks like what is on the Guild b-302 I just got. Could work out on the jag, but not sure about how many screw holes I'm working with. I'd rather not drill new ones.

I am planning to put a BadAss bridge on mine. I managed to get one used here on TB for a reasonable amount of money. I would also consider Gotoh bridges. They are cheap and seem really well-built.

I did the Hipshot Vintage with the quick string-change option. It allowed low action and kept that "zing" the Jag does so well. Looked good too. The Gotoh I tried first had bigger barrels and prevented low action in my case.
