Replacement 15" speakers for a twin 15 cabinet

I have an old Traynor twin 15" sealed cabinet that I would like to overhaul. IYO, what are the best 15" drivers?
I have already decided to wire this up for 8 ohms using two 4 ohm speakers wired in series.

Please let have your recommendations.

what are you using it for?

if it's for bass guitar, two 8ohm 15s wired to 4ohms will get more power out of your amp.

4ohm speakers are kind of odd and will be a little harder to find, and also, series wiring makes for slightly looser speaker damping, cool for guitar but not so cool for bass or sound reinforcement.

If it's for bass, possibly add a port and make it a real bass cab. The speaker guru TB'rs can help you on port size based on internal cab volume.

OK, Thanks Walter & Stumbo. Yes this cabinet will be for bass. The original Traynor Marsland speakers ...well....I guess you could say that I wore them out. I replaced one with an EV 15B years ago and replaced the other with a Fender 15 bass driver last year. However, I am not not impressed with the response of the mismatched speakers.
The cabinet itself is in very good condition, as these cabs were solidly built.
