Hi,
I posted a similar question a while ago but did not get any answers, so I am trying again.
My LM II has a 60mm 12V DC two wire fan in it that is a bit too noisy when i use it at home in my music room.
I am not an electronics expert but I could replace the fan. I just don't know which one to buy.
I have found "ultra quiet" ones but if they end up running at a higher RPM than the one I have then I didn't gain anything. If the RPMs are not high enough I might fry my amp.
It would be nice to have a fan with a thermal sensor like my Eden Amp. But there i would be in over my head. I don't know if the fan if it has a sensor, controls the speed or if some additional circuitry is needed.
Have any of you replaced the fan in your Markbass amp? Can you recommend a fan?
