So it's this model, if you needed a visual:
The PG on the one I'm looking at (not the one pictured) has seen better days, so I'm thinking it may need a new one.
Being a somewhat oddball and short lived model, there wasn't an obvious replacement I found off the bat.
Mostly, I was guessing that the American replacements for the newer 5 string P basses could likely work to some degree.
But if there were something else which people have gotten and it worked well, I'd love to hear about it. Pics would be cool too, if you wanna make me jealous!
My caveats:
- Not looking for a custom one to be made. It's gotta be off the shelf and easily purchased.
- Don't mind if it has a truss notch or requires holes to be drilled for screws. Just not looking for something which requires a lot of reworking.
- Not looking to spend a ton. This is a Squier.
