Hey- I’ve got a 9v single soapbar pickup with four controls on a fretless ESP with a 2 Tek bridge that I’ve had for 15 years. I want to upgrade the electronics. My biggest complaint is that my tone is lackluster when compared to my other basses. I’d like the obvious- a tighter low end, sparklier highs and clear mids… I’ve got the three screw pickup, I’m guessing they call this a P90 ? I would consider any option, not really worried about pricing. This thing is an albatross- I should weigh it to be sure, but I’m guessing 11 lbs +. The 2 Tek was the reason I bought it. Any suggestions? I’m ok with a soldering iron- got a Weller, but plug- in leads would be something I’d really like.

Eesh! My bad- it’s got a definitive size that seemed to mirror the Aguilar- 1.3 x like 3- apologies I’m in the truck. I’m not too concerned with dimension, what I’m looking for are sonic impressions. Who is mas fina, who is da kind?…and why… I guess I can take a picture and post it here, but I’m an idiot of sorts in that realm. What I want is an improved palette.

So you don't care if it fits the existing cavity?
Yeah, I do. I’m going to measure it . I frankly didn’t expect any response this quickly. I misspoke. I’ll get it gnat’s ass toot sweet. I’m more after a specific sort of branded tone. I imagine that a fair number of pups fit this hole.
