The OP replaced his speaker with the original GK speaker 12 years ago.

The Delta 12LFC isn't a great choice, it's awfully inefficient for using in a low powered combo, even IF the TS parameters worked out to be ok.

So finally I have ordered the original replacement speaker from GK. Thanks for your tips anyway!

It looks that that in the current speaker some connection between moving coil and paper cone has been broken - it rattles even without the box and sometimes it shuts up completely until I poke it with finger, then it starts rattling again. Most likely reason was that I used this combo in quite extreme conditions... Will try to be more careful with new one.

You've likely got a failure in one of the voice coil flexible leads, usually at the point where it's soldered to the terminal lug.
