Hey, saw this thread during a search and didn't want to make a duplicate of the same topic. I recently bought a used Eden 4x10 XLT - the morning after I got it home I plugged in and immediately noticed a rattle coming from the bottom-right speaker.

At this point I'm pretty sure it needs to be replaced. I not really in a place where I can spend $175 on a speaker but could manage around the $100 mark. I'm not really sure what specs to look for in order to find a replacement that will complement the other three. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

can't go wrong with Black Widow's

@dirkscalling do you realise the post before yours was placed ten years ago? I would think that after all this time the point is moot! :)

Edit to add that if the particular Black Widow's parameters do not suit the eden cabinet, likely, then they will fail in short order. There is a science behind designing speaker cabinets. Ignoring that science a shoving some arbitrary driver into an existing box is a good recipe for failure.
