Greetings, I have an odd Fender Jazz 5 string bass. It has the Fender neck and body but it was made to take EMG-J PUPS so it has a smaller PUP cavity. It also has its three pots set up in a straight line vs the traditional Jazz angle if you know what I mean. I'm assuming its a real Fender, the head stock says so. Anyway I'd like to exp. with another make of PUPS but as I said this is not setup for stock Fender Jazz PUPS so the body would need to be routed out. Any suggestions here? Thank you...Chris P.
