replacements for BB414

hey, does anyone know a good replacement pickup (the single coil split) for a yamaha BB414?

ah a tony kanal fan, good on ya. is that the same size as a normal p style pickup? as i recall i think they are a tad wider

i think there a little wider plus they're kinda rounded i didnt know if that would affect the way they are fitted, or if they would even fit because the chrome ring around the housing

also if it werent for Tony Kanal i dont think i would be playing bass now

you may have to have a pickup custom made. i can't think of anything that would be a drop in fit.

I remember seeing a BB414 that had a regular P Bass pickup installed. There were some gaps, and the pickup physically is square and the Yamaha space is rounded, but it looked like the strings lined up with the poles okay.

Hi You could try Bareknuckle in Devon or Harry Haüssel in Germany they both make excellent custom order pups not as expensive as you'd think . G'Luck
