Replacing a preamp question

This might seem a tad foolish, but I've very little experience in the matter.

I'm considering replacing the MEC preamp in my Warwick with an Aguilar OBP-3. Currently, my bass has controls for "Volume, Blend, Bass, Mid, Treble" and a toggle switch for series/parallel/single coil for the bridge humbucker.

With the way preamps work, would I be right in thinking that all I'll be replacing will be the actual EQ section of my electronics, meaning I can keep the volume/blend/toggle switch as is?

Sorry again for the silly question!
