So my 20-something year old Yamaha 01V mixer looks like it's on its last legs -- probably didn't survive the cross-country move -- and I need to start pre-emptively shopping for a replacement. But I am way out of the loop on what's currently available in compact digital mixers, so would appreciate any suggestions.
Must-Haves:
- 8-channels of Lightpipe i/o plus at least 8 additional analog inputs
- at least 2 and preferably 4 Aux Sends on analog outputs
- MIDI controllable motorized moving faders
- MIDI recallable scenes
- 1 or 2 built-in Effects processors that are on separate sends (i.e., that don't use up the aforementioned Aux sends)
- compact form-factor: ~19" wide (doesn't strictly need to be rack mountable, but it will almost always live on top of a 19" rack) and <24" deep
Frankly, if Yamaha still made the 01V -- or the 01V96 -- I'd just buy another one of them. But I'm almost certainly not interested in buying a used mixer.
What's out there that I should be looking at?
Thanks.
