Replacing P-Bass p/u' s

Not much help in the p/u section ( past posts ) i am thinking of the lindys as what i want is a quiet pup that will retain vintage p-bass sound i will be placing these in my 69-P......just so you know my #1 is an alembic epic.

I put a Lindy Fralin P pickup in my 1976 P-Bass and it was PERFECT. Great lows, singing mids -- just a really strong vintage sounding pickup -- and dead quiet too. I have played Basslines, Quarter Pounders, Rio Grandes and EMG's in my old P basses. But the Lindy was by far the best vintage sounding replacement to my ear.

Good luck
