Replacing Peavey Cirrus Knobs: Screw-on or Push-on knobs?

I just was hoping to find out if the black rubber knobs on a cirrus are press on for split shaft or screw on for solid shaft...

Thanks, I can never see pictures of these little black knobs well enough to tell. I have a cirrus on the way and I want to get gold metal knobs to match the hardware.

Yeah, that seems to be one of the biggest complaints of the Cirrus. People say the same thing about Zons and Spectors, too.

I put StewMac's gold with Abalone inserts on my Redwood Cirrus 6. It's up on eBay now - search for it as a Cirrus 6 string. Good pics of the knobs. Standard 15/64" screw style smooth shaft knobs fit just fine.

I'm going to revive this post years later. Anyone know where I can get a replacement knob for a 97 era cirrus? I'd love to keep her as close to original as possible but I can't find a rubber knob anywhere. I am only missing one.

Hi Fusion, I have just ordered a 1997 Cirrus (USA Made, 4 string) and expect delivery next week sometime. I will want to swap the knobs out and would be willing to work something out, the only catch os that I’m in France. Feel free to PM me.
