Replacing Speaker (Ashdown t15-250s)

Hi guys, I'm new at TB.
My amp (Ashdown t15-250s, Invalid Link Removed) sounds pretty muddy. My question is how can I improve its sound? By replacing the speaker (I'm thinking about an Eminence Legend CA154 15" speaker)? Or by adding a cab? I mostly play stuff like Tool, Iron Maiden, Avenged Sevenfold, etc., and I need a growly sound.

That combo is too small for a driver swap to do any good. Add another 1x15 under it.

Another 1x15 with a tweeter if you ask me. I had one of those combos, and always missed a tweeter. I never thought it sounded muddy though, I just like tweeters.
