Replacing speaker cabs to increase sensitivity

Published specs by reputable companies are generally close enough to provide at least some basis for comparison. That said, there’s plenty of opportunity to mislead (intentionally or otherwise).

I respect your experience and knowledge
I can trust a measurement result when I know complete measurement process or there's a published industrial standard implemented (which is IMO pretty close to "there’s plenty of opportunity to mislead')

Get a Mesa Powerhouse 115?

I want one now!

How 'bout TWO? ;)

I think that the rig is what it is. If you want more volume, try adding a second 210AV cabinet.

It's already there.
Two cabs. 8 ohm, 200 watts (some say 260).
Still, with a Mesa PH 1x15 cab (4 ohm, 100w output from the head) it's monstrously louder.
Why don't I just use the PH cab, then? Because it weighs a ton (the whole Ampeg rig weighs less than that single cab) and I don't want to spend money on another cab...but I guess that at the end of the day I'll stick to those SVT210AVs as they are.

Fair enough as the PH cabs are notoriously heavy (I say this as a former PH610 owner). The Mesa Subway 115 is a lot lighter and I’m told it performs better in many other respects too. There are also many other light/loud/low cabs out there (at a price, of course) - it’s a cliche to say it but we really are living in a golden age of good lightweight amplification.
