Replying To A Thread

Please explain what I am doing wrong.

I LOG IN O.K. to respond to a thread. I spend quite a bit of time writing a message (hopefully with thoughtful input) .When I go to transmit the message I can't do it because I have been "logged off". Frustratingly, I can't (or don't know how to) retrieve what I have written - so all my time has been wasted trying to respond to a question in the thread.

After generating a response, must one Log In again before trying to send the response? What is the right way to do this?

Thanks,

Bob McHenry

Quick Reply <below the thread> For a response with text-only (no photos or emoticons). After typing your response, press the Post Quick Reply button.

OR

Post Reply <blue button at left> If you want to post pictures, or emoticons in your reply.

That's two different ways, Quick Reply or Post Reply...

Suggestion, if you're the only user on the computer-check the box when you Login-before hitting the submit button. (This way you're already logged in every time that you visit TB.)
