Request for CAD Help

I'm wondering if anyone can help me get a suitable file that can be submitted for a custom control plate.

Here is the website of the company I plan to hire:

The programs they mention in the section where they describe file prep are:
Illustrator, Inkscape, Fusion 360, and SolidWorks.

I don't know what I should expect to pay for these services. Anyone capable and interested please let me know.

Not exactly what you're looking for, but a couple sites to check out are eMachineShop and frontpanelexpress. Both are production services that provide their own free software intended for "the rest of us" to use. I've used eMachineShop at my workplace for stuff that I needed quickly and didn't want to bother an engineer with, such a plate for mounting some electronic components in a prototype.

Note that the cheapest service, laser cutting, leaves an edge that might require further finishing by hand to look and feel nice. With eMachineShop, you specify the material and level of finishing you want. I think with frontpanel express, the finishing options are more obvious.

I don't see chrome as a finish option. They have nickel, but I really want to match my other hardware. They have "Brush Polish Mirror," but I doubt that would look the same as chrome. Their software seems pretty easy to use. I'd be open to recommendations for other companies that have a similar ordering process, but that also offer chrome finish.
