That is one band that I have actually heard of - but what I remember most about them is that they have incredibly monotonous bass lines - like one note for the whole song!!

there's nothing wrong with that. and no, they're not monotonous. repetitive.....maybe. but that's the whole point.
they've got some amazing basslines. 'pecolator' and 'the free design' are super-groovy.
to the OP: no tabs, sorry. after a while, i gave up tryin to find them and just learned them songs by ear.
