I'd like to please get some help from someone who is knowledgeable about music theory and who would be willing to make suggestions for improving the jazz style song that I wrote some years ago.

I have a full recording of the song (guitar, keys, bass, and drums) but I've been unsatisfied ever since I wrote it with the lack of choral and melodic diversity. The chords are basic major and minor chords and it leaves the song sounding rather bland.

I'm not a professional musician and I have no intention of making money off of it so there's no financial benefit to helping me out, although I'd add an assisted writing credit to the updated recording if you wanted.

I've written and recorded a few dozen original songs in the rock and metal music genres that I'm happy with, but I'm afraid my jazz style writing skills are less than adequate.
