Resolved: Reverb woes

I'm confused...looking at the clearly identifiable woodgrain just above the neck pickup, this is the same bass. What the heck happened here? Perhaps this was repaired instead of sending back to Reverb? Although the current listing just says mint condition and doesn't refer to a repair. I don't think this is clicking with me.

It wasn't damaged, the area on the underside of the fretboard (that a pickguard covers on a standard 4003) wasn't polished out like the rest of the finish.
He sent Reverb a extreme close up of it that was pixelated and claimed ' damage '

I see on my earnings $300 was refunded to him (the cost of a case)
The money came from Reverb and not me but it reflects on the sale history

You might reopen your case and send that to Reverb. They ought to be interested. But who knows?

Reverb seems to have removed most of the history of the sale but I could still access a packing slip

Unless there's another Jimmy in Fermont Canada with a 1 of 27 Ric with the same grained wood

;P

Dude couldn't even show Reverb the damage at the time
Sad I had to deal with the stress and BS over a scam
Reverb wanted me to refund him 100% instantly
I wonder if he intended to get a refund and then not send me the bass back

Either that or he's lying and selling a damaged bass as mint

;)
