Double Bass Reunion blues bow case... still available somewhere?

Hi all,

Does any of you know of a place that still stock the Reunion Blues bow case? Preferably the brown version.

I know Stringemporium might have the black one but I would prefer the brown. I really like the look of this case and would love to buy one for Christmas but they are not available in Europe and are not being made anymore. So anyone?

I may be wrong but I don't think Reunion Blues has made that case for several years so the one you found might well be one of the last ones.

I'd contact Glenn Cronkhite http://www.glenncronkhite.com/
He's the guy who designed and made all the Reunion Blues leather cases from the 70's up until 2001. I got an EB gig bag from him last year. At that point he seemed able to provide anything he has a pattern for but he has terrible arthritis and can't cut new patterns. If he can make you one you could get any color you want.

I still had to say thank you Jeff! I contacted Glenn and while it did take quite some time, I received the very last bow case he had last week! And at a very decent price too. I am very happy with it. So thx again for the tip!

Oh good, I'm glad! It's a shame Glenn doesn't seem to have an apprentice that will carry on the tradition.

I know this a late post, but don't ever give up looking for one of treasures!
I just found one in Pasadena, CA. It's brand new, albeit a little pricey.
